About the Bible
We believe the 66 books of the Holy Bible are the inspired, inerrant, and reliable Word of God. As such it is our final authority for all matters of life and Christian practice.
2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:160; John 17:17; Proverbs 30:5; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 5:18; John 10:35; Psalm 119:105
About the Triune God
We believe there is one God who has eternally existed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Each share the one and same divine essence and each execute distinct but harmonious roles/offices. All the attributes of divinity belong equally to each of the three persons.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Exodus 20:2; Jude 5; 1 Timothy 2:5; Psalm 90:2; 139:1-4, 7-10; Isaiah 40:13-17; 45:18; Matthew 19:26; 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:13-14; 1 Peter 1:2; John 1:1; Colossians 1:15-22
About the Father
We believe in God the Father, the first member of the Trinity who is uncreated and eternally existing with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Almighty, creator of heaven and earth, of all that is visible and invisible. In his wisdom and omnipotence, he oversees the affairs of humankind. His role in redemption includes, but is not limited to, sending Jesus as a propitiation for sin, adopting into his eternal family those who by faith receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, and granting forgiveness of sin on the basis of Jesus’ atoning sacrifice. He desires all people to be saved. God the Father is the one to whom we pray.

About Jesus Christ
We believe in God the Son, second member of the Trinity who is uncreated and eternally existing with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. In his role as Savior, he was conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit and was born and given the name Jesus. In his incarnation, Jesus of Nazareth was fully God and fully human. As the unique Son of God, Jesus is our Prophet, Priest, and King. He never sinned but was betrayed, arrested, crucified, died, was buried, and was bodily raised to life again. After his resurrection, he presented himself alive with many convincing proofs, appeared to over 500 people, further taught the Apostles and commissioned them to make disciples and preach the Gospel to all creation. After 40 days among his disciples, he ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return to judge both the living and the dead and will bring his kingdom to its eternal fulfillment.

About the Holy Spirit
We believe in God the Holy Spirit, third member of the Trinity who is uncreated and eternally existing with God the Father and God the Son. The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. Among his roles is to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He is the agent of regeneration, bringing a spiritually dead person to life. He is also the agent of sanctification in the life of the Christian, bringing transformation to shape them more and more into the image and character of Jesus Christ. He is the Christian’s eternal deposit, sealing them until the day our salvation is fully realized.

About Mankind
We believe that mankind, created by God, willfully sinned and as a result, is lost and without hope apart from receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Genesis 1:26-28; 3:1-7; Romans 3:23; 6:23; Acts 4:12
About Salvation
We believe that each person needs forgiveness from God as a result of their own personal sin and that salvation – the forgiveness of sins – is available only by the grace of God through what Jesus did for us by dying for our sins on the cross. This forgiveness is available to each person who receives Jesus as Lord and Savior. Since Jesus paid the penalty for all sin upon the cross, salvation cannot be earned by good works or righteous living. It is simply a free gift of God’s grace.
Ezekiel 18:4, 18-22; Romans 3:23-28; 6:23; 14:12; John 1:10-13; 3:16; Acts 2:36-41; 4:8-12; 15:11; Galatians 2:16; 3:26-27; Ephesians 2:8-10; Colossians 2:11-14; Titus 3:4-7; Hebrews 10:1-18; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 1:8; 2:2
Marriage and the Family
We believe that marriage is a covenant made between two people, one man and one woman, with God. The Christian marriage covenant requires the married parties to be faithful, loving and helpful to each other as long as they both shall live. Marriage is a union ordained by God. Marriage is a typology of Jesus Christ and the Church. As such, the Church views marriage as a profound spiritual institution established by God. We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.
Genesis 2:24; Malachi 2:15-16; Matthew 5:32; 19:5-6,9; Romans 7:2-3; 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, 15; 2 Corinthians 6:14; Ephesians 5:22-25
Gender and Sexuality
We believe the Bible establishes that God created two distinct genders: Male and Female.
Genesis 1:27
This means that man and woman are two distinct genders willed by God their Creator in their respective beings, which reflect the image and nature of God. “Being man” or “being woman” is a reality that is good and willed by God. Therefore, to reject one’s biological gender is to reject the work of the Creator and imply that God made a mistake. God does not make mistakes.
Romans 1:24-27; Job 42:1-3; Isaiah 55:8, 9
As God’s image bearers, man and woman have inalienable rights and ensuing responsibilities. Man and woman should be treated with dignity and respect. They should also lead lives worthy of the dignity of their unique gender. This is done by living chastely – a call all Christians are called to follow.
Ephesians 5:3
Sanctity of Life
We believe that all matters of faith and conduct must be evaluated on the basis of the Holy Bible (the “Bible” and the “Scriptures”), which is our inspired, inerrant, and reliable guide. Since the Bible speaks directly to creation and human life, it is imperative that we correctly understand and articulate what the Bible teaches on these matters.
2 Timothy 3:16–17
We believe that God created humankind in His image, though currently flawed by sin, and designed humanity to be stewards of all creation. God, in His infinite sovereignty, uniquely formed human beings and gave them a special dignity, personal freedom, and individual accountability above all the works of creation.
Genesis 1:26
We believe that human life begins at conception and human beings have been made to be in relationship with God, who created each person’s inmost being, knit together in the mother’s womb. As God’s individual, personal creation, each person is awesomely and wonderfully made. God has planned and ordained all the days of every person’s life—even before a single day began.
Psalm 139:13–14, 16
Love for Others
We believe that as Christians, we are to genuinely love and affirm the value of, and seek to promote the care and wellbeing of all people, even those individuals whose own values and beliefs do not align with our own. The Church warmly welcomes all who sincerely seek God by faith. Furthermore, the Church affirms God’s grace and forgiveness for all sins, and no one who has sought repentance shall be excluded from the fellowship of the Church solely on the basis of previous acts.
