About
Where academic rigor meets purposeful discipleship.
Journey Christian Academy is a college-preparatory Christian homeschool cooperative learning program for grades 4–12, launching August 2027 in Midlothian, Virginia.
Our story
Why we exist.
We exist for families seeking serious academics and serious discipleship, but don’t want to choose between the structure of a traditional school and the flexibility of homeschooling. Students come to campus two days a week for core academics, electives, and our Disciple-Making program, completing guided work at home. Every class is led by a specialized instructor under the supervision of our Director.
Parents remain their child’s primary educator, holding final responsibility for transcripts, end-of-year testing, and state compliance. However, you don’t have to navigate that journey alone—we walk alongside our families, providing as much or as little administrative guidance as you need. The Academy equips families with the instruction and community to make that work — it doesn’t try to replace the role God has given parents.
What we’re about

Our Vision
To be a premier educational academy that partners with families to cultivate academic excellence and shape Biblically-grounded disciples who think critically, serve sacrificially, and engage culture without compromise.

Leadership & Mission
We prepare students to lead with purpose and live on a mission for Jesus by developing both their knowledge and character.
- Students are encouraged to lead with humility, responsibility, and servant leadership
- Learning is applied in meaningful ways through service, outreach, and real-world experiences
